Getting Quality One Way Links For Free

Getting Quality One Way Links For Free By: Razvan Rovinaru

As you probably know, building your link popularity is the best way to get good search engine placement and free traffic for life for your websites. A lot of people have trouble with this, so I decided to make a small list with the methods I use to get tons of quality one way links to my sites.

1. The first and best way to do this is to write articles related to your site. Now this technique may not be new to many of you out there but I can assure you that a lot of people don’t know how to take advantage of this great opportunity. Your articles should be somewhere between 300 – 500 words with your resource box attached at the end. This should contain a small 3rd person description of yourself, something like: “John Doe is a well respected senior writer and owner of the site http://.....”

After you have your article written all you need to do is go to http://www.google.com/ and do a search for “article directory”. At the time of this writing there are 374.000.000 results for this search. You should send your articles to as many article directories as possible. The more you send the more traffic you get. The more traffic you make, the more sales you have. The more sales you have, the more money you make. Get the picture? Consider sending your articles to the first 2 pages of results on your first day, then do the next 2 pages the following day, and so on.

2. After you start writing articles, you should start a blog about your business and make regular posts to it. You can start one here: http://www.wordpress.com/ After each post go to http://www.pingomatic.com/ or http://www.pingoat.com/ and ping your blog so that it will be picked up by the search engines. If you make constant posts to it, then the search engine spiders will know to regularly come back to your site.

After you have your blog, you can go to http://www.google.com/ and do a search for “blog directory”. At the time of this writing there are 224.000.000 results for this search so this should keep you busy for a while. Use the same strategy as for the articles and send your blog to the first 2 pages the first day, then the next 2 pages and so on…You should stop only after you send your blog to at least 100 directories. It may take some time, but the traffic will be worth it.

3. Another good way to get one way links to your sites is to post comments on other people’s blogs. Again, use Google to do a search for “ (your business) blog ”. Then do comments on the high PR blogs, as you can attach a link back to your site under your comment.

4. Give testimonials to programs you have bought or liked and include an active link back to your site. Don’t just write a 2-3 line testimonial because it probably won’t get picked for the home page. Instead, try writing an interesting useful one, not too long, but not too short either and you’ll have a bigger shot.

5. Try making posts on forums regularly. The best way to get noticed out there is to help others, as they will appreciate and trust you and your recommendations. You can have a sig file with your link back to your site after every post you make. The more posts, the more exposure for you and your business.
So these are the top ways of getting free one way links back to your sites. Use this info wisely and your business will flourish.

How I Made A Million Online In Three Months

How I Made A Million Online In Three Months By: Matt DeAngelis

There’s a headline that gets anyone’s attention. There is actually a post on webmasterworld.net from a forum user who calls himself markus007 that makes that claim. I think the few initial suggestions he makes bear repeating:

1. Get a database of IP’s so you know where your traffic is coming from. Then create channels for each country. Its not uncommon to see US traffic with a CPM of $5.00 and a CDN traffic at 20 cents and vice versa. If you have access to the hints option, give different hints based on IP. ie if your page is about 401k plans, that won’t get you anything outside of the USA.

2. You have to create sites that will bring in repeat traffic. If you think you will get rich off SEO think again. If you create a Free jobs site you could net 30 million + a year if you got big. Club listings site, free religious personals etc would all be big money makers. Look for established markets and offer a service for free and support it with adsense.

3. Have your users create content and lots of it. User reviews of night clubs, Resorts, golf courses etc. Build your site around your users and make them part of your site, don’t build your site for consumption.

4. Do not enter markets with a lot of competition monitized via adsense. Try and undercut paid content markets by offering a free service, or better yet create your own market.

5. Keep your site dead simple, it has to load fast and have no more then 2 ads and 1 or 2 pictures other then your logo. Do not confuse your user, give them what they want and give it to them fast.

6. Troll around various forums and if people are not talking about your market, there is a good chance you will make money.

Here are some other interesting tidbits from the thread (it spans 25 pages):

Traffic is step #1, conversion is step #2, then for #3 we have to play with psychology

I like this one because it follows the process I have been preaching for years:impression -> conversion -> action

So, in summary, users can find in his sites free services that are usually paid elsewhere, and they get them in a simple and fast way, and targeted to their locations, with lots of user feedback.

This seems to confirm the often quoted #1 Google’s advice:

1. Focus on the user and all else will follow.

Well said.

Markus again:

I found that you should just ignor monetization issues. I focus most of my time on trying to increase my dailly visitor count. [Emphasis added] If i don’t increase my users/pageviews by 10% a month there is something wrong. If you focus all your time on trying to make money, your site tends to not grow.

With trends in advertising currently, it is best you build for the long term anyways. Google is coming out with rich media ads which would increase my CPM to $4+ and other ad platforms are working at tracking the users intentions. Ie if you searched for a new car on google a week ago, a random site may display car ads when you visit it. I think in 5 to 10 years, the internet will monitize at the same level as offline. Now is the time to get ahold of as much traffic as you can.

The beauty about what i’ve done is that my site constantly grows 10% a month, and I build long term value and actually help millions of people and my time spent working on the site stays at about a hour a day.

Read the thread. It’s long but interesting: http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum89/12751.htm

Increase Traffic to Your Website with These Top Seven Linking Tips!

Increase Traffic to Your Website with These Top Seven Linking Tips! By: Colin Evans

Are you one of those who got conned by the SEO experts into believing that reciprocal linking was only a search engine optimization tactic and was frowned upon by the search engines and therefore a bad practice?

Perhaps they should have told the whole truth… Indiscriminate reciprocal linking is frowned upon by the search engines, but careful tactical reciprocal linking benefits everybody and not only is it a good way of getting "quick traffic" it’s a good way to get fairly stable traffic - I have websites that still get traffic from links I swapped over two years ago, and this traffic has steadily increased over the years (both ways).
Getting good quality links is far more important than getting lots of links, so here are seven tips for getting decent reciprocal links to your websites:

1) Don't worry about a website's PR (i.e. Google PR) because many websites end up with an inflated PR through their own reciprocal linking campaigns. What’s the point of linking to a high PR website which receives very little traffic?
You need to link to a website which gets a lot of traffic, so do a little research using Alexa.com - create a spreadsheet to record the traffic stats of likely link partners - you want to make sure their traffic is either stable or increasing (so you will be maintaining these stats for the life of your link partnership, hence the spreadsheet).

2) Only link to websites of a similar or related theme. I have found that linking to all and sundry might increase the traffic to a website but doesn't necessarily increase earnings. For example, a visitor who clicks through to your website from a reciprocal link on a similarly themed website is looking for information, which makes them far more inclined to click on a Google Adsense ad if it looks interesting to them.

3) Only link to partners who use categorized link pages or use a categorized link directory (unless they have less than 10 links in total). Your link must be easy to find, which means it needs to appear in a logical, orderly and easy to search system.

4) Never add your link to a page with more than 20 links - less than 10 is even better. If there is more than one page of links for a particular category, don't bother adding your link - people hardly ever look past page one…
You would be better off finding a related category for your website which has fewer links. For example - you might have a website on diamond rings... When the time comes to add a link to a reciprocal directory nearly everybody will add their link to the diamond jewelry category, but not many people think of engagement rings, or wedding rings or bridal jewelry.

5) Never link to a website which tries to hide the link to their link pages. You're doing this for traffic so your link must be easy to find. You will get a lot more traffic from a website which has a link to their links/resources near the top of the webpage (or within the normal navigation menu system), and hardly any from a link at the bottom of the page.

6) Your link is an advertisement for your website, so spend a bit of time writing a good one. You need a title which gets attention and a description which arouses interest or gets the reader curious.

7) You are engaging in a reciprocal link, so reciprocate. Make sure that your linking system allows your reciprocal link partners to apply the previous six tips…
If you apply these seven tips to your reciprocal linking while being very selective in your choice of link partners you can increase the flow of targeted traffic to your websites which in turn will increase your website income.
